Fresh Green Bean Casserole with Cream of Chicken Soup

The ultimate green bean casserole recipe! It's made with fresh, vibrant green beans, tossed with decadent cream of chicken soup, and mixed with classic fried onions which pack a salty, umami flavor.

  • ¾ cup fried onions

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Wash and cut the green beans into 1 ½ to 2 inch pieces. Take a medium pot of water to a boil on high heat. Steam the green beans on medium heat for 6-7 minutes and drain. Set aside.
  • Mix the cream of chicken, milk, soy sauce, ¾ cup fried onions and garlic together in a large mixing bowl.
  • Fold in the green beans and mix well.
  • Transfer the mixed green beans into a 9x13” baking pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Then top the casserole with the remaining ¾ cup fried onions and bake for an additional 8 minutes.
