Thinly slice an apple into 1/8 inch with a mandoline slicer or knife.
No need to peel or core the apple. Leaving the core will give you whole apple slices. Once the chips are air fried, you can de-seed them.
Place the apple slices layered in the air fryer basket and weigh them down with a trivet. This prevents them from flying through the fan!
Done chips will have an even light-medium brown color. If they're pale and yellow, then it will need more time.

These apple chips are best eaten immediately. They will turn soft if you store them in a closed container.
