Easy Homemade Au Jus for Prime Rib

Quick and easy 10 minute au jus sauce made without pan drippings. Serve with your favorite dish!

Here's what you need

Kosher salt

ground pepper

beef broth

red wine

chopped red onion

butter

Worcestershire sauce

Saute the red onions on medium high heat with a bit of oil for about 5 minutes.

How to make a easy homemade au jus

Add the butter, beef broth and salt. Whisk everything together well. Then heat the au jus on high heat, reducing the sauce for about 5 minutes.

Once the sauce is done reducing. Strain the onion out from the au jus. Or if you like the onion flavor, keep them in!

Serve with a rib roast, french dip sandwich or roasted chicken!
