Alfredo Sauce with Milk

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • ¼ cup salted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • cracked pepper to taste
  • 1 lb Fettuccine pasta, cooked

Instructions
 

  • In a large pan, add butter and melt on medium low heat
  • Add minced garlic, cook for about 30 seconds
  • Add flour and combine to form a paste.
  • Add parmesan cheese and mix to combine.
  • Slowly whisk in the milk.
  • Take the sauce up to a simmer on medium heat.
  • Lower the heat to medium low and continue to stir the sauce until it thickens, about 5-8 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add cooked Fettuccine and combine with the sauce. Turn off the heat and serve immediately.
