This quick and easy tuna casserole comes together with just four simple ingredients and is ready to serve in under 30 minutes. Packed with protein and rich, savory flavors, it’s a comforting dish that’s perfect for feeding family or crowd!
3cupsegg noodles (about 6 oz)Or pasta of choice: elbow pasta, fusilli pasta, or rotini
1cancanned tuna (5 oz)
2canscondensed cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz can)Only use 1.5 cans for recipe (about 15 oz)
1 cupshredded cheddar cheeseor cheese of choice
2teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Add 2 teaspoons of salt to a pot of boiling water, then cook the noodles according to the package directions.
When noodles are done, drain and rinse with cold water.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl add the cooked noodles, 1 can tuna, 1 ½ can cream of mushroom, and cheese. Add optional vegetables and mix well.
Transfer the mixture into a casserole dish and evenly distribute. Top with optional bread crumbs or topping of choice.
Bake at 425°F for 15-20 minutes, or until the dish is cooked through and the cheese is melted with a golden-brown crust on top.
Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes, and serve warm. Enjoy!
